Xanthi Touroutsika holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in teaching English as a foreign/second Language, specialised in the use of modern, latest technological tools and methods in teaching English. Throughout her career she has been continually delving into new areas of interest through courses and seminars, on Differentiated Learning and Teaching, Special Educational Needs and use of web tools and artistic aids in teaching among others.

She has been teaching English since 2007 and preparing students for sitting exams related to all levels of proving language proficiency (B2-C2, IELTS, university entrance exams etc) both in language schools, in public educational units and as a tutor in one-to-one classes.

In 2017 she decided to create her own language teaching school, the LOFT by Xanthi Touroutsika, wishing to welcome her students to her inviting place. Employing the latest technologically advanced tools and scientifically proven methods and through a fully interactive and immersive learning experience, she fosters a fun, safe environment in which learning is facilitated.
